The goal of the Spiritual Life Ministry of Emmanuel Worship Center is to intercede for the church, and to equip, enable, and encourage church members to pray continually and effectively while making prayer a part of everything they do.

Community Service (CS) is a ministry of the Emmanuel Worship Center that coordinates with our Food Pantry and Clothing Distribution center to deliver services and other kinds of social, mental, and spiritual support to the local community. It seeks to improve the lives of the most vulnerable in our community. For services, call 703-473-1883.

To teach the word of God with clarity, inviting those who are responsive to become disciples of Jesus Christ, by training them to be discipleship makers. As discipleship makers we care for one another, and support one another, through prayer, and personal encouragement. We are a church where true spiritual fellowship matters.
Our vision is to build up the Mt. Vernon community with spiritual support, through friendship, clear Bible knowledge, prayer support, health education, and youth empowerment.
It Is our hope that we can find the financial and other resources to build the center of worship and family mental health services that will help us become the most effective agency of transformation in the Mt. Vernon area of Alexandria, Fairfax.

I am grateful for being a member of a congregation that nurtures and supports spiritual development. Church leaders educate members about Bible teachings and biblical history and how it applies to modern everyday life. I appreciate church leaders’ continuous outreach to members in their time of need.
